Dia De Los Muertos Exhibit

This exhibit runs during October and November 2018. You can visit this excellent exhibit at the Higher Art Gallery at 126 S. Union Street in Traverse City. The days that the display is open include Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is no cost to visit this exhibit, and you can do so from 11 AM to 6 PM on Wednesday through Saturday and from 11 AM until 4 PM on Sunday.

Take your time as you enjoy this fascinating exhibit that features more than 30 artists. The exhibition explores the Day of the Dead which is a Mexican cultural holiday. It is a festival that celebrates and encourages people to continue their contact with loved ones, both past, and present. The display of artwork will touch on various scenes that include reverence, sentiment, and humor. You will also be able to participate and construct your own sugar skull.

Jazz Night

Jazz night is presented by the View Nightclub which is located at 615 E. Front St. in West Bay Beach. Jazz night continues every Thursday from September until April. The time to visit the Holiday Inn Resort Jazz Night is from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. You will be able to hear the beautiful sounds from the Jeff Haas Trio.
